Our Countywide employee intranet was recently re-launched as County Connect, with a fresher look and new features. Check it out, if you haven't already.
To help you stay informed about the County budget, CEO Mona Miyasato has launched a page on County Connect for the Budget Rebalance Initiative. Check it for meeting dates, information, a suggestion box and more.
The County has also launched an email news blast that reaches a growing list of employees, residents, stakeholders and the media. Sign up for the e-blast and you'll receive notifications when Board agendas, news and announcements are posted to the County public website.
If you have a news item or announcement for a press release or internal news story, please email me. I'll work with you and the County communication channels to publicize it appropriately...potentially including media pitching/distribution, release via County e-blast and/or County social media (subject to management approval), posting to County Connect or the Intercom, and posting to County or Department websites.
