The draft California State Plan on Aging – 2017-2021 (State Plan) is now posted on the California Department of Aging (CDA) website. CDA prepared the draft State Plan with a focus on promoting the independence and well-being of older adults, persons with disabilities, and their families. The draft State Plan outlines specific goals, objectives, and strategies that CDA believes can be achieved with existing resources. CDA is soliciting public comment on the plan from May 1 to May 31, 2017 (via hearings, mail, and this online survey), and invites you to share this information with your network. For more information, you may contact (916) 419-7540 or stateplancomment@aging.ca.gov.
