Evelyn Rainbolt is County Employee of the Month!

I'm happy to announce that Evelyn Rainbolt was honored October 2 at the Board of Supervisors meeting as the Santa Barbara County Employee of the Month. Evelyn is well deserving, as she is one of the hardest-working individuals I've ever worked with. She's truly a kind and compassionate person, and embodies the mission of our organization not only at the office, but also in the community by dedicating her time to those less fortunate. Read on to see the full text of the resolution, and a photo of Evelyn and her co-workers alongside her portrait in the County Administration Building.

RESOLUTION FOR COMMENDATION FOR EVELYN RAINBOLT
EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH, OCTOBER 2017

WHEREAS, in November 1998 Evelyn Rainbolt began her career with Santa Barbara County Department of Social Services as an Accounting Supervisor of the General Operations unit, Revenue and Claims unit, and Special Project units for three years,

WHEREAS, Ms. Rainbolt was promoted to Cost Analyst in 2001 for the Social Services Department providing oversight for budget development and special projects. Through her leadership and guidance the DSS budget process has continued to improve and made more efficient; and 

WHEREAS, Ms. Rainbolt provides management with valuable advice and direction on key projects and has demonstrated a willingness to go the extra mile to complete tasks and projects; and 

WHEREAS, Ms. Rainbolt has continued to serve the community outside work as a volunteer at the Transition House and the Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital; and

WHEREAS, Ms. Rainbolt is a shining example of a dedicated and hard-working public servant who can always be counted on to get the job done;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT AND RESOLVED AND ORDERED that the Board of Supervisors recognizes Evelyn Rainbolt as the employee of the month for October 2017.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Santa Barbara, State of California, this 3rd day of October 2017 by a unanimous vote of all members present.
