I am excited to announce that effective 10/4/21 the limits on our tuition reimbursement caps have increased. These increased levels are only for tuition reimbursements submitted
for payment after 10/4/21.
The new maximum annual reimbursement per fiscal year is:
- $740 ($185 per class) for classes taken in conjunction with obtaining an Associate's degree or associate level certificate;
- $3,750 ($750 class) for classes in conjunction with obtaining a Bachelor's degree or bachelor’s level certificate which cannot be obtained at a community college;
- $3,750 ($930 per class) for classes in conjunction with obtaining a graduate degree or graduate level certificate;
- 50% of the cost, up to a maximum of $2,000 per year, for continuing education, training related to the functions of the Department as well as for, classes and certificate testing fees required for professional licenses that would benefit the Department. Maximum reimbursements rates for regular part-time employees shall be prorated based on their part-time percentage.
