One of the more exciting transformations around Santa Barbara County is the implementation of our new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, Workday.
In May 2022, the County Board of Supervisors approved ERP and software implementation services contracts with Workday and Accenture to secure a unified business solution that includes finance, human resources, and payroll. The ERP system will replace disparate and aging software applications currently in use to perform essential County business processes. This will allow the County to further standardize and automate business processes, simplify the County's technology landscape, meet the expectations of the County workforce, and facilitate the modernization of the County's business operations.
Everyone will benefit from Workday by being able to do the following:
- complete timesheets
- request and approve leave
- check benefits
- track budgets
- and much more.
