The Department of Social Services Program Academy would like
to extend our warmest welcome to our 40 new Eligibility Workers! This group
began their Dual Induction training program on Monday May 13, 2024.
This new class is comprised of 34
trainees located at the Benefits Service Center, who will remain in Santa Maria
after training, and 6 trainees located in Santa Barbara, who will remain at the
CDR office post training.
We are so excited to have such a large group of amazing new employees who will
be making their way out to the floor as fully training eligibility workers
within the next few months.
As always, we’d like to thank all of our training and support staff who make it
possible to provide effective and engaging training for such large classes. We
would also like to extend our deepest appreciation to the Human Resources
division who worked tirelessly to make the recruiting, hiring, and onboarding
process for this class possible.
