To close out the summer, the Smile Squad at CDR hosted an exciting Cornhole Tournament. The event spanned the last three Wednesdays in August, kicking off with trials where the top twelve competitors advanced to the Semi-Finals. Everyone brought their A-game to the Semi-Finals, but only six moved on to the Finals. The tournament concluded with the top three winners: First place went to Eric Gamson from IT, who received a $20 Trader Joe’s gift card and an impressive bragging trophy. The identity of the trophy donor remains a fun mystery! Second place was awarded to Melissa Rodriguez from CWS, who won a $10 Trader Joe’s gift card. Third place went to Julio Campero Pizano from MC/CF Intake, who earned $5 Tiendita bucks. Congratulations to all the winners, and thank you to the Smile Squad for organizing such enjoyable events! P.S. Any clues about the mystery trophy donor are greatly appreciated!
