"Star Wars" was the theme for the BSC's annual Employee Appreciation Celebration---not just a day, but a whole week of creative and team-building activities, May 23-27, for the call center staff that so ably serves our Medi-Cal and CalFresh clients!
Each day featured a different delicious menu offering that was planned, prepared and served by BSC Supervisors, and provided an opportunity for our hardworking staff to step away from the phones and into the Pavilion Galaxy for a quick breather. Each unit was challenged to create a poster identifying their Troop members, favorite Star Wars character and quote, and what their Troop planned to conquer...and identify their Troop as #TeamRebellion or #TeamDarkSide. Creativity was certainly unleashed by the interesting, funny, and beautiful posters created and displayed in the Pavilion Room for all to enjoy. Employees were encouraged to wear their Star Wars T-shirts and some diehard fans seemed to wear a different one for every day.
The BSC Supervisory Team planned and executed the entire event for the staff in order to show their appreciation for all that our Eligibility Workers do to serve our clients and department. Managers Christina Groppetti and Lina Bickel especially want to recognize this amazing team for their efforts, not only because of how they function together to plan a special event, but for functioning as a strong team every day.
