Mark Contois will be moving over to the Adult
Services Manager position starting January 3, 2017. He will be filling
the vacancy created when Brad Parks retired, which Noel Lossing and Mekala
Manus have been covering for the last few months. I want to thank Noel
and Mekala for the wonderful job they have done.
Mark
has a Master’s of Social work degree and over 26 years of experience in the
industry. As an Assistant Director in El Dorado County, Mark oversaw the
Aging programs, APS, IHSS, Senior Nutrition, Senior Daycare and Public Housing
Authority along with other programs. Mark’s experience and talents will
be a great asset to Adult Services, and I am sure he will lead the division through
any challenges that might come.
