We are recognizing Eligibility Professionals Month with events in six DSS offices countywide. Click the image above to see the schedule of next week’s events, and come celebrate our EWs! Light refreshments will be provided.
Eligibility Professionals are at the forefront of Social Services, processing applications to ensure timely benefits for eligible households. They skillfully handle crisis situations, analyze financial and personal information, coordinate case management, and exercise compassion with community members, external providers, and internal staff. They’re exceptional people: empathetic, analytical, organized, flexible, and dedicated to continuously improving their cultural, computer, and program knowledge.
Eligibility Professionals provide critical services in a broad array of program and functional areas in our Department, including Adoptions Assistance, CalFresh, CalWORKs, Child Care, Foster Care, General Relief, Medi-Cal, Staff Development, and Compliance. They help vulnerable households secure the food, healthcare, income and services they need, making our community stronger. This is our chance to say “thank you!”
