It is important to be reminded that you are appreciated for the AMAZING work you do for the community. This year’s AMAZING RACE theme was an illustrative example of the teamwork, camaraderie and resilience you each possess and the strengths each of you have to get through the tough times, including jumping rope and blowing bubble gum bubbles to name a few.
The breakfast served by our office supervisory staff was
well received…the sups always look forward to serving their staff on this
day! Laura and I had the opportunity to visit with each of you and tell
you how much you are appreciated…our favorite part of the day! Based on
the comments I heard about lunch…I would say you really enjoyed the delicious
BBQ meal! Kudos again to our Caterer Jose Limon who delivered an
outstanding BBQ again!
Special thanks to our team of trainers, Benita Ibarra,
Esther Herrera, Mark Laurel and their team of helpers at each of the
“countries” replicated throughout the building for delivering a fun,
competitive and enlightening training! Fabulous door prizes were raffled
off at each of the training sessions and a delicious ice-cream afternoon
dessert made possible, courtesy of the Encouraging the Heart Committee
(ETH). Thank you ETH Committee for all you do throughout the
year! Thanks to all of you that participated in the sessions today, your
involvement was awesome (once again demonstrating the many talents we have
among staff)!
Finally, putting on this day takes a group of dedicated WRC
leaders who worked hard and tirelessly to plan, shop, prepare and deliver a
wonderful day for all to enjoy. Kudos to Martha Bright, Norma Berumen,
Nancy Saengjaeng, Brenda Dominguez, Raina Osterbauer, Armanda Ramos, Carlos
Gonzalez, Irma Cabigas, Julisa Sahagun, Mark Laurel, Esther Herrera, Alice
Razo, Benita Ibarra, Jason Ramirez, Amy Lopez, Tom Binnebose, Eric Walker and
Theresa Bishop and any others that they might have recruited to help!
Your work is very much appreciated! Thank you all!
