New Enterprise Audio Conference Service

It is General Services’ pleasure to announce an upgrade of the County’s enterprise audio conferencing service “Consortium III”. Consortium III is cloud-based and accessed through a browser. The following are changes in use of the Consortium application:

• Programming of audio conferences will now be completed using a cloud-based Web interface.
• The URL is: https://cosb.forumcloud.net – use this link starting July 17, 2017.
• User ID’s and administrative pass codes to access the Consortium III application will remain the same.
• Conference programming procedures will remain the same in the cloud-based application.
• The cloud-based Consortium III programming is nearly identical to the County server-based application.
• Email notifications on meeting details can be sent to administrative personnel that set up conference calls.
• Accessing/Calling in to a conference will now require dialing a toll-free number: 855-748-3535.
• 805-681- 5400 or extension 5400 will no longer be used to access Consortium.
• Program your desk phone and cell phone to use the new phone number.

All existing ongoing conferences have been recreated in the cloud-based solution. Any conferences scheduled up to July 14th will use the County server-based application. Any conference scheduled on the 15th or 16th (Sat or Sun) can be completed using the cloud-based application or the County server-based application. From July 17th on, any existing conferences will use the new cloud-based Consortium III and any new conferences will need to be set up on the cloud-based solution.
