United Way is partnering with DSS and other organizations to coordinate Stuff the Bus, a program that provides disadvantaged children with new school supplies so they can succeed in the new school year.
You can help provide the tools students need, by helping to Stuff the Bus! Volunteer opportunities include greeters, donation collectors, sorters, stuffers, site coordinators, sponsors, donors, distributors, and donation shoppers.
The Stuff the Bus event takes place August 11-13 at Walmart in Santa Maria and Lompoc:
- Friday, noon- 6pm
- Saturday, 10am-7pm
- Sunday, 10am-4pm
