Calling all County Employees...change doesn’t happen without
you! Volunteers are needed for the 2019 Homeless Point In Time
(PIT) Count, which is the annual counting of individuals and families
experiencing homelessness. The PIT Count will take place 5 - 8:30 a.m.
Thursday, January 24. Read on to learn more about the PIT Count and how to volunteer.
Teams of volunteers and experts will canvas assigned
routes throughout the County and document those experiencing homelessness. The
information can be used to plan local homeless assistance systems and raise
public awareness.
To volunteer, sign up at the website. If you’re using a
County computer, go to https://liveunitedsbc.org/, otherwise go to www.commongroundsbc.org
to register. Register today before volunteer trainings begin the
