As of May 15, 2019, the DSS Human Capital Management (HCM) system is live for all staff. HCM replaces our PERS and W443 personnel systems, and will also be used to complete all traditional performance evaluations and plans online. Read on for the steps you need to take to start your journey into the HCM world!
You can start by becoming familiar with resources available to you, as shown below.
1. Click on the HCM link on the DSS Intranet.
2. Watch the Getting Started video located on our HCM Homepage. This video will show you how to login to HCM. (In order for the HCM icon to appear on your desktop, you must restart your computer. If you don’t see the HCM icon on your desktop or cannot login, please contact the IT help desk to assist you at D.HelpCenter@sbcsocialserv.org.)
3. Review the HCM Resources section.
4. Review your personal information: the Employee Self Service business processes and training videos show you how.
