It is my great pleasure to announce that we will be celebrating ‘Employee Appreciation Day’ this year on Tuesday, June 8, 2021.
Due to the pandemic, we were not sure if we would be able to do so this year, but given the positive news and progress our State is making, we have been given the green light to proceed. Our Management Team at CDR has been working diligently and expeditiously to pull this together before the end of our fiscal year.
Our theme this year will be Camping Adventure.
We have the following activities planned for that day:
- Dress Up: You are welcome to dress up as campers!
- Training: Staff Development will be providing a short (15 mins.), but super fun training on Wellness. The tool will help you increase quality of life, mental well-being, and ultimately, your performance at work.
- Picture Day: Most of you have heard by now, we are working on a digital yearbook for CDR. This will be the day we officially launch this project. We will be taking your unit group photo and individual photo (if you are not submitting your own photo). We will be sending you timeslots and direction as to where to meet. More to come on this.
- Food: Lunch will be provided. Because we have to order individually wrapped sandwiches, our budget does not go far this year. You can help us out by giving us an accurate head count.
