COVID-19 Update: 6/18/21

• Today the CalOSHA rule update and the Governor’s Executive order related to safety in the workplace, to include masks, go into effect. 
• Staff will be provided a form by Tuesday to self-attest that they are fully vaccinated. Once that is submitted, that person does not need to wear a mask in the workplace. 
• In the meantime, as we await for the self-attestation form to be generated and distributed, if you want to provide by email a copy of your vaccination card showing that you are fully vaccinated to Andrea Johnson at a.johnson@sbcsocialserv.org in our HR Department, you will no longer be required to wear a mask. Put VAX Card in the subject line. 
• All are still welcome to continue wearing a mask. And those staff who are not fully vaccinated need to continue to wear a mask as they have been. 
• Also, we will be receiving signs today or Monday to post on the doors of our buildings notifying the public that if they are entering the building without a mask, they are self-attesting that they are fully vaccinated. 
• Practical updates related to such things as: riding in cars together, the re-opening of break rooms and the holding of in-person meetings will be provided in the coming days.
