On April 8th, 2026, DSS had the opportunity to attend the Buellton Community Benefits Fair held at Oak Valley Elementary School. This event was dedicated to providing community members with information about available resources and programs including Communify, CenCal, HASBARCO, PHP Meals on Wheels and pet microchipping services through the Humana Society.
Alejandra Vargas and Nancy Alfaro demonstrated exceptional enthusiasm and commitment while assisting attendees by providing information and connecting them to additional services that may benefit the community we serve. It was a privilege to work alongside individuals who consistently exhibit compassion, empathy and a genuine dedication to helping other access essential services.
Collaboration with such passionate professionals is both inspiring and rewarding. Their efforts continue to make a meaningful impact on individuals and families in need, especially during challenging times.
